About the Role
This role involves handling end-to-end travel ticketing operations while providing customer support through voice, chat, and email. The candidate will be responsible for booking, issuing, reissuing, and managing flight tickets, along with ensuring accurate information handling and updating CRM systems.
The position requires experience in call center environments, preferably within travel, tourism, or hospitality, and familiarity with GDS tools like Amadeus or Galileo. The role also includes handling customer queries, loyalty programs, and fare rules, while maintaining high communication standards.
Candidates should be adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in rotating shifts, with strong English communication skills and the ability to manage both inbound and outbound customer interactions.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Properly search for air availability and quote itineraries in all fare types and cabins.
- Issuing fresh tickets and creating reservations
- Reissue and revalidation of tickets
- Maintaining accuracy of information given and documented
- Working knowledge of any GDS (Amadeus, Galileo)
- Manage loyalty related questions from clients
- Update CRM internally
- Able to take email, chat and voice requests from clients
Key Skills & Requirements
- Travel, Tourism / Hospitality experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 year of experience in a call center environment
- Good communication skills with fluency in English
- Experience servicing a Domestic customer base
- Airline, Travel and Resorts experience will be an advantage
- GDS Travel Software experience is added advantage
- Should be able to read fare Rules & Penalty.
- Able to learn new process quickly and adaptable to change
- Comfortable making outbound and taking inbound call
